March 20, 2012 – ACCEM Neighborhood Emergency Preparedness Workshop w/Paul “Crash” Marusich, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., HISway (333 N. Orchard St.) Extra parking is located at Boise Paint & Glass just north of HISway. A general household emergency preparedness workshop that offers all sorts of valuable information for you and your family. Be Aware, Plan, and Prepare!

April 7, 2012 – Neighborhood Cleanup Day! Morris Hill Neighborhood Association will once again be sponsoring our annual neighborhood cleanup event. Neighbors are encouraged to improve the look of our neighborhood by taking the time to “Spring Clean” their own yard, home, and street.

May 12, 2012 – Morris Hill “Celebrate Our Streets” event and Annual Neighborhood Walk-A-Thon! Join us for the most exciting Morris Hill event of the year! On Saturday, May 12, 2012, Orchard Street will come alive with the Morris Hill “Celebrate Our Streets” event! The event will go from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and includes live musical entertainment (compliments of the City of Boise!), activities for the kids including a visit from McGruff the Crime Dog, our annual Neighborhood Crime Prevention and Cleanup Walk-A-Thon, in-store “Celebration Specials” offered by our local Morris Hill merchants, and informational booths sponsored by our area emergency response representatives including the Boise Police Department, Boise Fire Department, Ada County Paramedics, Ada City-County Emergency Management, and more! Everyone’s invited so come on out and “Celebrate Our Streets!”
May 15, 2012 – National Police Service Day – Morris Hill will honor several members of the Boise Police Department for all that they do for our neighborhood community.

August 7, 2012 – NATIONAL NIGHT OUT! All neighbors are encouraged to please consider hosting your very own NATIONAL NIGHT OUT block party as a way of getting to know the neighbors who live on your street. The MHNA will donate a FREE party bag (with party supplies and door prize items) to all neighbors who host a NATIONAL NIGHT OUT event! Participants are asked to contact Charlene Miller with the Boise Police Department to register your event:cmiller@cityofboise.org or 570-6070.
